A Quarterback’s Reward: The Golden Arm Award

One of the greatest awards a quarterback player in college football will ever achieve is the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award. It is an award given annually to America’s outstanding senior quarterback in college football. It is given by the foundation named for Johnny Unitas, the hall of fame quarterback who started playing at the University of Louisville, and then made exemplary records in the National Football League for the Baltimore Colts. One of the many lucky recipients is Cade McNown, a quarterback from the University of California (UCLA).

Cade McNown received the Golden Arm Award in 1999. Up to the present, he is still the only UCLA quarterback who received the said award. He was an outstanding quarterback who was responsible for the most wins of his team during his senior year, especially during the Rose Bowl, wherein he led UCLA to a 10-2 game against the Bruins. The UCLA victory broke the Bruins’ school record of 20 games winning streak, and it was all because of him. Aside from that, he was also able to set myriads of school records both in passing and offense. With amazing performance and statistics, he was also able to gain many other awards such as Heisman Trophy (finished up third), Pac-10 offensive player of the year, and many more.

The recent winner of the Golden Arm Award was Scott Tolzien, former quarterback of the Wisconsin Badgers. Just like Cade McNown, he received the award for his amazing performance when he was a college football player.

Comparison between Project Server 2010 and Project Server 2007

Now you can be more managed and effective in your business. In the new MS Project Server 2010, you can take advantage of the collaboration feature of SharePoint. Project Server 2010 provides well thought-out implementation capabilities thus providing flexible work management solutions. This project management software unites portfolio and project management so that companies can align investments and resources depending on their business priorities, attain control across all types of job, and view performance with the help of insightful dashboards.

Project Online 2010 includes the best-of-its-kind portfolio management methods which facilitates end-to-end portfolio and project management. It includes well-known SharePoint user interface and familiar information storage capability eradicating the need for the Project Server Gateway. It also allows simplified and intuitive administration and localized portfolio selection abilities.

The significant difference between Project Server 2010 and the earlier version is that in Project Server 2010, SharePoint Server 2010 can be installed on the PC running Project Server and on all Project Web App servers inside a SharePoint farm. In the new Project Server version, the PSI is inclusive of the ASMX interface and Windows Communication Foundation interface for Web services. The project management software’s workflow platform is built on workflow foundation in the SharePoint platform and integrated in the PSI. Project Server assignment, task, and its status information is incorporated with Microsoft Exchange Server rather than with Microsoft Outlook add-in.

Yet another tool from Microsoft which is really helpful like Microsoft Project Server 2010 is the Online CRM alias customer service software which enables effective customer relationship management. The marketing automation software module of CRM is the best for handling your marketing activities.
